		<description>My first instinct was to say a dripline is a bunch of geeks lnedancing but I didn&#039;t think that was appropriate, so I won&#039;t say that. 
A &quot;dripline&quot; is the imaginary line on the ground directly under the width of the of a tree&#039;s or shrub&#039;s longest branches. Tree roots always grow to the dripline and often beyond it.
